One Year of Northern California Living.

To be honest, this is a complete photo dump. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and have spent my entire life in Northern California. I recently just started really taking pictures in the past year. I'm not claiming these are any works of art, but it's pretty representative of how awesome Northern California is. We have the best weather, world class cities, and beautiful country. Here's a snapshot of my life.

To begin, here is Oakland, my current city.

Lake Merritt.

The new Bay Bridge with the old. This is the largest self anchored suspension bridge in the world, and quite the looker if I say so myself.

Brown Sugar Kitchen in West Oakland. The best chicken and waffle you will ever have.

Railroad in West Oakland.

Warehouse with some Art Deco flare to it.

Checking out the geese at Lake Merritt

And some of my former city San Francisco.

The view from Alameda naval base.

Ashbury Heights at night. Very close to my old neighborhood of Cole Valley.

No comment necessary.

View from Point Richmond. This is a super cute secluded neighborhood on the westernmost point of Richmond. Nobody really knows about it, but it's adorable and has great views.

View of the Inner Richmond from Tank Hill Park

View from my friend's roof in the Mission.

Here's some of the North Bay, Marin and Sonoma counties.

Tomales Bay, Marin County. It's actually the San Andreas fault, when I took this photo I was sitting on the North American Plate, and the land across the water is the Pacific Plate. Pretty trippy.

Petaluma in Sonoma County. This town certainly packs a punch in terms of charming urbanism for a small city on the west coast.

This is the same vantage point as the most view image on earth: Windows Bliss, the default background for all Windows PC's. Taken in Sonoma Valley.

Sol Food in San Rafael. Amazing Puerto Rican food in an unbeatable atmosphere.

Acacia tree in bloom during early spring. Napa River.

Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa. This was the line for Pliny the Younger. This was taken at about 10:00am on a Tuesday morning, all these people are waiting in line to drink a limited release beer...

Alpacas with a sweet Victorian house in Sonoma Valley.

Sunset over Mt. Tamalpais from the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.

Here's some true Northern California, Mendocino County.

Fort Bragg, CA.

Mendocino, CA

This was a sinkhole some locals told us about. My girlfriend climbing back out after we explored it.

Cove in Mendocino, CA

Glass Beach in Fort Bragg. It was a former landfill right on the Pacific Ocean. This smoothed glass is what remains after decades of cleanup. The entire beach is made of it.

I leave you with a picture of where the Lost Coast begins, and highway 1 veers inland. Ahead in this picture is one of the least populated and most difficult to reach places in California.

Hope you all enjoyed.
