Thanks, that's very interesting. As the quote typed on the old letterhead was dated 1897, I thought maybe they were at Main & Alameda temporarily while their Spring St building was being expanded by Morgan & Walls. Capitol may have a more varied and complicated history than I thought.

P.S. The 1909 birds-eye map shows Baker Iron Works next door to Capitol Milling, at N Spring and College, now surface parking:
