Totally get that! If you haven't check out the guys over at Sunflower Philly on 5th and Cecil B. Great little community spot. The guys there have coordinated some great community clean-up days and events. Also introduced me to some great Puerto Rican food. Neighborhoods aren't static, people get pushed around all the time. Sometimes people get pushed out when prices get to hot, and sometimes people move in when the neighborhood takes a downturn. They can just go up a few more blocks up to allegheny. I say this as a boricua.
