As expected, there are complaints on social media from alumni. One calls the new building a "steel cage." I understand the nostalgia, but international business is all about cities these days. Even as the U.S. and the U.K. rethink their roles in international agreements and organizations, modern cities exchange goods, services, and ideas with their counterparts around the globe. ASU is smart to realize that an urban location is a good match for global business education.
