Curved glass too. 50 West turned out wonderfully, and already, its an instant hit on the skyline. These towers resemble the trend of residential construction increasing in Lower Manhattan. What use to be primarily financing, is now an area full of diverse industries, and a much higher population. Battery Park City was a start, and after 9/11, they thought Downtown was dead. Fast forward 14 years, and its a district that has new faces, children playing, revamped plazas, new schools, shops, and so on. Big transformation in 14 years.
All of this leads to a 24/7 neighborhood which was really not the case decades ago. Midtown sure, but Lower always had that eeriness after 8 pm, but now its full of life late at night.
