yay, I guess. It's kind of hard for me to like this project. I get that KOP is in dire need of some better transit options, but the cost for this seems kind of crazy. Also, it's annoying that it bypasses town center. I suppose KOP will continue to get denser, but as it is now it seems like a billion dollars to the mall and casino. I suppose some office workers will use it, but seems like a desolate walk past highways, parking lots and not much else to the business parks around there, or I guess you could do the half hour walk to town center from the proposed mall blvd. station. Last time I drove through there weren't very many sidewalks and the traffic was nuts. If KOP became a walkable mini-city, then great, and maybe that's the plan but a lot will need to change. I'd much rather see an extension of regional rail to Phoenixville and beyond first though. And maybe we shouldn't go out of our way to make it easier to get to office parks. Maybe we want to push some of these businesses to want to move to Norristown or Conshy instead, dense walkable towns with transit already in place right next to KOP.
