Calgary's New Central Library, designed by Snohetta. The project is currently under construction and will cost around $250 million. The LRT track encapsulation is now complete and heavy construction on the building is now getting underway. The 6-storey building will be complete in 2018. Along with the National Music Centre of Canada, this will be one of the first major cultural institutions built in Calgary's burgeoning East Village neighbourhood.
