87-unit tower planned for booming Long Island City

Sina Mahfar of SMA Equities plans to develop a 12-story, 87-unit project at 41-18th 24th Street, between 41st Avenue and Queens Plaza North. The building will feature 66,525 square feet of residential space, although whether the units will be rentals or condominiums is not yet known. The planned tower will also boast a roof terrace, parking and bike storage. A plan exam was filed earlier this week for the project, with Flushing-based MY Architect PC set to design.
