Downtown Phoenix will host fan festivals and concerts in the run up to the College Football Playoff Championship Game in January.
ESPN, which based broadcasts in Scottsdale when the Valley hosted Super Bowl XLIX, will also locate its base downtown for the CFB game Jan. 11
Just like the with the Super Bowl, events will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center and the parking lot in between Cityscape and Collier Center.
