If you have:
What's it like?
If you've been to more than one country, how do they compare and contrast?
How is the urban living?
How is the STANDARD of living? I know many are developing countries..

Thanks for all that reply
I live in Johannesburg, South Africa and have traveled around Africa a bit, mainly in Kenya.

South Africa is urban and lively. It is like LA, but significantly more dirty and dangerous. There are very nice areas and very poor areas. Incredible country overall. Modern infrastructure and pretty reliable overall. I've enjoyed it.

Kenya, in particular, represents the rest of sub-saharan Africa. It is very dirty and crowded in the city and very remote and almost "tribal" in the rural areas. Interesting place, though.
