The Prospect Avenue project is located in Belmont, just a block west of the Bronx Zoo. The seven-story building will, according to the permits, contain 41 units spread over 31,567 square feet of construction area, plus a 1,720-square-foot community facility.

The building on Southern Boulevard is located about a dozen blocks to the south, near the Cross-Bronx Expressway. The project will be slightly denser, with 20,056 square feet in total over eight stories and 27 apartments, plus a 475 square feet of community facility space.

Both projects will fit into their New Law tenement-scale neighborhoods, contributing to the rebuilding of the Bronx. Stagg’s projects tend to be plain red brick buildings with some masonry trim and below-window, through-wall air conditioning units, much like the other projects in the area.
