No, I think it's the abandoned buildings, the empty shell of a city that remains, the homeless, or possibly the fact that there is no gradient to that "city", for great want of a better word, that is attractive. Ugh. The other day it was so foggy everything was coated in gloom; it's like the sun never shines here.
I seriously cannot wait to leave Michigan and never, ever return. If I had known then what I know now, I would have chosen a real state for college.
