Using the information, I also found this postcard on eBay. The seller dates it as circa 1930s, when it was apparently called the Pacific Evangelical Home for Aged People.

Here's how the building and grounds looked in 1954. The next date available is 1972, and that just shows an empty lot.

The buildings on the left top corner of the aerial picture are Burbank High School. The curved street is Harvard Road. The straight street to the left of that was the bottom part of Grinnell Drive but it was taken out when the school property was expanded. It now starts up again below the High School and runs past IKEA.
