Speaking of the park and fountain and the above building at Santa Monica Blvd. and Doheny, this post I did (link below) shows many photos of this intersection, including a large color photo from 1965 which shows a portion of the above building as the Dr. R. (---?) Smith Pet Hospital. (You can also see it in the "Double Standard" b&w photo.)
