Liquid Lofts And Edgewater’s Tallest Tower Approved By FAA, City Review Pending

Quote:
The FAA has approved the height of both Liquid Lofts and 2000 Biscayne, even before the city has approved the two projects:

Liquid Lofts was approved for a height of 866 feet above ground, or 875 feet above sea level. Miami’s Planning and Zoning Department is recommending denial of setbacks needed to build the 76-story tower at 35 SW 1st Street. The tower is proposed to include 482 units and ground floor retail or restaurant space. In July, the Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board deferred a decision until October.

2000 Biscayne was approved at a height of 646 feet above ground, or 649 feet above sea level. Verzasca Group has the property in contract and has said that the tower is being designed by a ‘world renowned architect’ and that it will be tallest in Edgewater. It is proposed to include 450 units, but hasn’t been approved by the city yet.
