It turns out that 310 South Andrews Boulevard/310 South Lafayette Park Place was built by one Ceilan M Spitzer (some sources say in 1915, others 1917; bio
here). Spitzer was only able to enjoy it for a short time before expiring. There is a newspaper mention of a Mrs. Charles R Stevens living in the house in 1920; how long she was there is unclear, but according to later reportage, the McKinleys acquired it in 1939.
