Thank you for your wealth of knowledge gsjansen! Very interesting. I noticed that the date on your pic of Aliso Village is 1947 and the date on the pic I posted is 1951. Was the Aliso Village project done in phases or was the date on the Boyle Heights pic wrong? (The latter wouldn't surprise me at all!)
I am chuckling about the Hollywood Inn. I have probably walked or driven by it a gazillion times and never bothered to look up. Typical.
