Heh, I somehow doubt that this is a "gay" club in the sense the word is used today. (If you look closely, that's a scantily clad girl on the facade in back of the man with the black hat.) In fact, with the vice laws as they were in L.A. back then, a club that openly advertised for the patronage of homosexual men would doubtless have been busted and closed down immediately.
