Thanks for the videos about the West Boulevard Bridge, Chin/Engine54. You could have been a little nicer to your guest. When Mitzi March Mogul says "I remember Downtown when it was filled with old mansions. It was fantastic.", you put up a picture of Bunker Hill from Central Park dated "circa 1900". I'm sure Mitzi was remembering a much later date .

Here's a picture of the bridge which USC date at 1940. The full picture can be seen in my post about the Pico & Rimpau Loop. Taken just seven years after the bridge was built, it looks like the sidewalk on the east side had already been reduced to its current width. The original stairs between Venice and Southwest Boulevards can be seen just right of the bridge. I wonder if Dr. Marxmiller was still in the same house when this picture was taken.
