Well that depends on where in Hong Kong you are and which direction you are looking..... The skyscrapers do stop in Hong Kong and it completely even depends on where you are.
Besides, I'll take the stuff in Chicago over most stuff in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is super impressive from a number of skyscrapers perspective, but HK is also easily the most overrated "architecture" city I've ever spent time in. The majority of the stuff is non descript crap looking concrete rectangles.
