Fascinating photo. I notice what appears to be a mailbox mounted on the pole nearest the pharmacy entrance, but what is the freestanding rectangular object next to it? Another collection mailbox? Seems too fragile or temporary for use as a mailbox, at least by contemporary standards. If not a mailbox, then what?
