Lucien Lagrange of course is a hack, and nowhere near the reputability or ability of Stern and his firm. But people from Chicago should face up to the fact that Lagrange is a hometown hack, and one that received a lot of high profile and successful commissions in their city. Between Stern and Lagrange, they're better off here with Stern.
And I disagree that a 850' tower can't be filler, especially when the tower is designed to be inoffensive and crowd-pleasing.
