Ilhabela is among the five best islands to vacation in South America, says TripAdvisor

The city of Ilhabela, located on the northern coast of São Paulo, was elected by Traveler's Choice, TripAdvisor, one of the five best islands of South America to spend their vacation. TripAdvisor is the largest travel site in the world. The list was created from millions of reviews and opinions from travelers around the world under various criteria.
 
Ilhabela was in fifth position in the ranking of South America, with its 40 km of unspoilt beaches and typical landscape of rainforest. The largest island of the coast of Brazil has 83% area preserved by the Ilhabela State Park and houses the largest Atlantic Forest reserve on the planet. Local beauty is complemented by its 42 beaches and 365 different styles of waterfalls.
