Thanks for the info. I don't have any insider info on this project.

Here is some speculation, however:

1) The condo market is cooling down. Perhaps they believe that they should wait for demand to pick up a bit?

Having said that, it is only 100 units, so it is a mid-size project, not exactly a big tower full of condos.

2) They are having trouble acquiring some of the neighbouring properties. Recall that they wanted to take up most of the De la Montagne-Crescent block. I know that Wanda's was refusing to sell for anything less than an exorbitant amount of money, so perhaps they are negotiating. They might also be facing zoning hurdles on this front.

3) Perhaps Selfridges is having second thoughts of moving Holt Renfrew into Ogilvy (which must have been the main reason for expanding Ogilvy). No news on this for more than a year though.
