I ran the street number by itself through the Assessor's office site and then began running all the ones that were in Los Angeles as opposed to any other suburb, pulling up the Google street view as I went. Fortunately, it was only about the 40th one down the page in LA so I did not have to go through the whole county! Also fortunately, it was still there so we could find it. Many of the addresses were either vacant lots, old retail places or new apartments/condos.
