Well in the 90s there was an article in both our newspapers talking about the "Kootenay Connector" a Coquihalla extension from the Okanagan to the Kootenays.
Highway 33 to Big White would extend east to the Arrow Lakes and follow the lake south into Castlegar and Highway 3.
