Downtown LA with Squid Row and some nearby areas such as South Central with not so rare violent protests and riots, including killing sprees by gangs and robbery on daylight, very very close to the modern banks and hotels of Downtown. Perfection doesn´t exist, not even in the largest metros of the Americas.
And upscale residential areas like Malibu and other around LA are not spared by destructive wildfires.
