they have private retailers, all the dispensaries are still open for the most part, but they have had problems with stock. Pt Coquitlam is looking at opening 4 pot shops for instance, 2 government ones and 2 private ones.

article there are currently 3 in BC and one of them is in Pouce Coupe.
It is surprising how badly the BC Government has handled it though.
