Another image I'd never seen on the LAPL site before - this kind of quirky WPA mural from the 1939 Federal Building at Temple and Main.

This is actually a composite of two LAPL images. I realize it's not a perfect photostitch, but it's the best I could do.

*chuckle* so-cal-bear should understand why I find this artwork to be particularly intriguing.

I wonder if the mural's still there. When I visit L.A. again in September, I will have to take a look. I'm curious to see what the the soldiers are pointing up at! The one ground sloth seems to be looking up at it, too. ^^
