AMAZING. I was just on that big hill in Butler Park today (which has an unmatched panoramic view of the skyline I found, and I counted
9 different cranes from that single viewpoint), and I was thinking how massive the impact of this tower would be, and I was all "please get your sh!t together, Fairmont." So this is super awesome.
P.S. I'll take this opportunity to make a quick announcement that
I am officially moved to Austin (!), as of the weekend before last.
So thrilled to witness this amazing period in the history of the city. It's like heaven on earth for an construction-obsessed urbanist nerd such as myself. Glad to become a part of the community.
