I just happen to be working north-east of Fort McMurray for a short period of time. I cannot say I'm impressed with the progress of twinning Highway 63. The 40 km section near Wandering River should be completed soon. However, it is the area immediately north of Fort McMurray that really concerns me.
That stretch of highway is just plain scary. Not sure if it because I was using it Sunday night to get to my work camp, but the traffic was insane. It was very intimidating.
