Sorry, but this comment is absurd. The "blight" was the tenement that used to sit here, not the 45-floor hotel, with no parking, that replaced it.
I hope hundreds more of these hotels are built. They're great for the economy and urban form. You cannot be an urbanist and simultaneously decry this kind of development.
