Well,
HossC, there is much confusion about Pola Negri's Colonial house... it was actually built by silent star Priscilla Dean and her husband actor Wheeler Oakman in 1922 and attributed to architects Walker & Eisen (Oviatt and Fine Arts buildings, Beverly-Wilshire, Hotel Normandie). According to a 1986 California Historic Resources inventory, it was at 610 North Beverly Drive, BH. Oakman & Dean sold it to Pola, who sold it to "well-known philanthropist" Max Strauss. Next was Hal Roach, who was moving from Berkeley Square:

610 N Beverly was demolished and there is a different house on the site now. The house across and up the street at 621 is cited in some places on the web as the Oakman-Dean/Negri/Roach houseāit has similar columns, as did the one once at 610. But it isn't Pola's house.
