Smile NEW YORK | 37-24 33rd Street | 75 FT | 7 FLOORS

Project: 37-24 33rd Street

Quote:
Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 37-24 33rd Street in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 37th Avenue and 38th Avenue, the lot is near the 39 Avenue-Dutch Kills subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. George Xu under the 33rd Street Ventures, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 64,984 square feet, with 47,653 square feet designated for residential space and 10,601 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 64 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 744 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 32 enclosed parking spaces.

Raymond Chan Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in January of this year for the commercial building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
