That's a good question. Was it angled because they were building on a previous foundation that was angled?
(i.e. the Times bldg.) -wishful thinking I know.
..but I'm also puzzled by the ramps in the illustration flyingwedge posted. So the only entrance to the underground garage
was on the far side of the State Building? There were no other entrances or exits? -is that correct?
FredH, I never noticed that 'Love Nest' sign. -perhaps it's a movie advertisement. -good eye.
