I spent one month in Victoria last November and I loved the city. It truly is beautiful and charming. To me, it did not feel like a very large city but it was still busy enough. Downtown area is nice and busy and I felt like the quiet and peaceful suburbs were always close enough...
Also made it to Tofino, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland and Mt. St Helens. I really had a good time visiting. Will be back for sure.
I still don't know which city I prefer between Halifax and Victoria. Both are very similar but so different at the same time. I think Halifax is a bit busier and feels a little bigger, but Victoria definitely has the west coast vibe that I am not used to in eastern Canada.
