Amen to that....always a bonus to see a rooftop sign - even if the lettering is long-since gone and all we see are the bones.

I'm sure there's a cost-factor involved as well, E.R., and not just sloth. Usually the owners of these older buildings are small business types, often immigrants. These guys throw around nickels like they are manhole covers.......and I don't blame them one bit.

You say there's an old sign on the roof? It's not causing any problem, and no one from the City is telling me to get rid of it? Fuggitaboutit.
