Interesting article. I wonder if the "Spanish flu" was actually a type of coronavirus rather than influenza virus? This was before electron microscopes (invented in 1930s), so all they knew was that it was a tiny virus, not a bacterium (which can be seen in ordinary light microscopes). They had no images of it and of course no genetic info. The 1918-1919 epidemic was pretty wicked, but we survived and the Roaring '20s followed. The way to avoid this cv is to avoid crowds and wash hands constantly. Carry clorox & lysol wipes with me, and purel. Turning into Howard Hughes. Also take vit. C & coldeeze. Can't hurt.
