It looks like there were up to five gasometers on that site, although the southern one was by far the biggest. This 1960 aerial just shows outlines of where the two to the right of the northern gasometer once stood. The 1964 view at Historic Aerials appears to only show an outline of the large gasometer, and later views show no trace at all.
