I have a Keuffel & Esser measuring tape, handed down from my father, that I cherish, and a K+E Log Log slide rule that I barely learned to use just before electronic calculators rendered it obsolete.
K+E products had a wonderful air of class to them.
The company had offices in Pasadena at Union and De Lacey that are now occupied by a Forever 21 store.
