The oldest photo I can currently find of Boardner's (opened in 1942) was taken at about half of it's current age of 72, c.1977-1979. There was an underground Clubhouse called Masque that developed for a few years in the late 70's, from '77-'79. The address to the Masque was 1655 N. Cherokee Avenue. The entrance was from an alley behind that ran between Cherokee and Las Palmas. (More info on Masque HERE.)

The following photo is of patrons in the alley waiting to enter the establshment. Boardner's is across the street.
