Milwaukee seems to be 1 city that get overlooked too often because of its proximity to Chicago. What a beautiful city it is. Downtown has really improved in recent yrs.. the development along the river is amazing. Lakefront is changing & will change more so in the coming yrs. with new developments. I would like to see Milwaukee concentrate on building these 15-30-story residential towers (like a dozen of them over the next decade) along the lakefront downtown. With NWML building a gem of a office tower & an additional office tower proposed. Milwaukee's downtown will be among the finest in the midwest. The architecture downtown is so beautiful, hopefully, the city & developers decide to keep much of those smaller older buildings with character. They'll not regret it if done right.
