Immediately east of the existing "Level" apartments, the new complex is dubbed "Level East".

This will have 6 floors, including one underground level.

Basic stats:
  • 127 units (1 and 2 bedroom)
  • private, off-street parking
  • outdoor courtyard and pool
  • fitness center
  • dog park
  • lockable bike storage
  • 4250 sf of restaurant / retail space

Floor Plan:

There will be 2 levels of in-structure parking, one of them underground -- something quite unusual in OKC.

The neighborhood

This is an interesting area of Deep Deuce with lots of new builds and renovations in the past 7 or 8 years.
Let's take a tour.

To the south of the lot is the historic Calvary Baptist Church - which was renovated several years ago.

Immediately to the north is the 400 Walnut project - a 100 year old building currently being renovated by a law firm.

It's around the corner from the Aloft Hotel.

Part of the Plan

The developer, Richard McKown, also built both the Level and Mosaic apartments.
With the Level East apartments, this would complete a trio of residential projects in this one area.

The original member of the trio, the Level apartments were completed in 2012.

The complex contains a small, local grocery store - Native Roots Market - as an amenity.
At the moment, it remains the only true grocery in the downtown area.

It originally featured a restaurant on the ground level - Urban Johnnie.
This has since changed concepts - recently redone as 'Bar Cicchetti', an Italian restaurant and sports bar.

Mosaic, the next apartment complex, was completed in 2015.

The northeast corner of Mosaic features 'Leaf + Bean' coffee shop.

This sketch shows the 3 apartment complexes and the list of stores/restaurants/amenities in the combined area:

The newly proposed building has the same general design as the other two.
One difference though is that Level East will have a brick exterior as opposed to the stucco used in the first two projects.

A rendering show an interesting diagonal brick inset design on the west face:

Great news for downtown.
Can't wait to see this project begin.
