As you can see from the caption, the wings are heading east in the photo above, and the Cyclone roller-coaster on the Pike is visible in the background. The aerial below is from May 1, 1947, and shows the Spruce Goose nearly complete in the lower-left corner. I've inset an enlargement under the Pike on the right.
