Yeah, but we're talking Midtown, not Lower Manhattan. 432 Park is around 6 miles from 1 WTC.
Plus, 1 WTC has the spire. It would be nice to have a "real" 1600-1800 foot tower in Midtown.
We'll probably get it soon, though, given the real estate market. Plenty of development sites along 57th Street and in Hudson Yards.
