Really, you have NY and Chicago, which can be argued day and night over which is first or second, and that will always be the case so long as those cities are still standing, and then, I can't really think of another 'skyline city' than SF. LA might have a couple taller buildings, but I like to think our skyline is better already in density, appeal, etc.
So, I think we are the top 3 now, and we will be into the future. But with Chicago and NY also on the list, can't really ever beat them.
