Favourite teams for facility's renewal hail from UK, Japan, U.S. and Canada

EDMONTON - Four contractors have been shortlisted for the Royal Alberta Museum renewal project. Candidates have been asked to submit design proposals and the successful group will be notified in September.
“We are challenging these architects and engineers to provide a design that captivates and inspires its visitors,” said Ray Danyluk, minister of infrastructure. “This is a rare opportunity to deliver an accessible landmark building in the heart of our capital city; one that defines our Alberta identity, has the flexibility to adapt with us as we grow, and welcomes generations of Albertans and visitors to come again and again.”
