It would be nice to get to KoP by rail, but I think more would benefit from a NE Philly extension of one of the heavy rail lines. Last I checked, according to Septa's numbers, the MFL has more total riders than the combined Regional Rail system. But if this extension to KoP does get underway I will be both surprised and happy for those who no longer have to drive into the extremely congested area.
