WeWork will take the entirety of a planned office and residential tower being developed by Martin Selig Real Estate to bring its new WeLive co-living residential program to the Belltown neighborhood.
The New York-based co-working venture will occupy 200,000 square feet of office space in Selig’s 36-story Third & Lenora tower, and 384 apartments above will be WeLive units.
GeekWire originally broke news of the plan in May, and Martin Selig confirmed it to the Puget Sound Business Journal on Thursday. We have reached out to Selig for further comment and will update this post when we hear back. Construction on the building will begin in about two months, Selig told PSBJ.
