you have to make them,(photoshop,Paint.net(free))or you can get crappy ones from websites,or you can buy them.
Aleks,Google has rented satalites which scans the face of earth and converts the shapes to 3d models(also how they make terrain),then uses the images and street view to make the textures. New York was modeled with the click of a mouse and a really good harddrive.
